All Iron Ore models and the Iron Ore cost curves have been updated for 2009 actuals.
The updates include a new model for Assmang's Khumani mine, plus the addition of Christmas Creek to the
FMG Cloudbreak model and a new pellet feed circuit at the Tamandua Complex.

The cost curves now carry an additional set of curves for FOB costs in US$/dry metric ton of saleable product.
We are retaining the cost curves in USc/metric ton units (which no-one seems to understand anyway).

Oh, and we have also added the very interesting Talvivaara hydrometallurgical operation to the base metals mines

CARBON EMISSIONS MODEL FOR IRON ORE
------------------------------------------------------
The Carbon Emissions Model which was the basis for a major report on GHG emissions we published
with Metalytics Pty Ltd several years ago is now available directly from the minecost website.
The model is current for 2009 and generates energy, carbon emissions and cost tables and charts for copper mines.
We have now added an emissions model for Iron Ore based on 2009 actuals with similar information on energy and
carbon emissions for the iron ore industry. Models for the other metals will be added as the models are updated.
